Hey Kimberley! Waking up to that first snow was... fun. Time for me to get the winter tires on - this snowfall came about a month earlier than last year.
Lots going on this week, but before we jump into the list, here are a few events worth highlighting.
2001: A Space Odyssey is playing at Centre 64 on Tuesday. Whether you’ve never seen it (like me) or you’re a superfan, it’s worth checking out.
Kids Yoga with Hope is back at Chupacabra Collective on Wednesdays. With the weather turning, it’s a good spot for kids to burn off that after-school energy.
UVA at the Larix reopens Thursday with a new menu from their new head chef Josh. Always exciting to have new food options in town.
Speaking of new food, The Clove opens this week (Wednesday) in the old Deer Park Diner spot with Indian cuisine.
Halloween Bonanza at the Aquatic Center starts Friday at 2pm. Different times for different age groups - check their poster for details.
Saturday brings the ski swap for gear hunting, plus bikepacking setups on display at Bootleg Bike Co and lots of live music in the evening.
Spirits + Sauna at Ilomaa Forest Farm on Sunday - perfect way to recover and prep for the week ahead.
