It's Earth Week, let's all do our part...
Wednesday, April 22, is Earth Day.
So this week, let's be extra kind to the awesome place we all call home - Kimberley, BC, Canada, Earth.
We only have the one.
Let’s be conscious of our actions this week (and the rest of our weeks).
Walk, run, or bike instead of driving.
Reduce packaging waste by shopping at Travelling Top-Ups Mobile Refillery or Full-Fill Zero Waste Market.
Before tossing something in the trash, see if you can recycle it at the transfer station (maybe you’ll get a lollipop too).
Spend as much time as you can outside. You’ll feel better.
We’re spoiled here, surrounded by so much nature and easy access to it.
Go for a walk or a ride in the woods.
Head to your favourite spot and just sit and look at it all.
Breathe it in, touch it, heck, get crazy and go barefoot in the dirt and feel it in your body.
In the evening, turn your devices off. Instead of your screens, go stare at the stars.
Say thank you to the earth for all that it’s given to us.
